Arcadia model homes

Arcadia is a multi-phase master-planned community by Minto in popular west-end Kanata  offering urban townhomes, executive townhomes, and single-family bungalow and two-storey designs.

The model homes at Arcadia are no longer open for physical viewing, but you can still see them with a 3D tour (see below).

The Hyde

This 1,690-square-foot single-family home feels spacious and light thanks to its nine-foot ceilings and a vista from the front door to the back of the home. 

The main living area features a large chef’s kitchen with high-gloss white cabinetry and a generous island, a separate dining room, and a mudroom off of the garage with a walk-in closet. The great room offers a decorative ceiling in the model home and includes a sleek linear fireplace with a ceiling-high surround.

There are three bedrooms on the second floor and optional his-and-hers sinks in both the ensuite and main bathroom.

The Talbot

A wrap-around porch helps define the Talbot, an 1,820-square-foot single-family home with a contemporary esthetic and a retro vibe.

The main floor has a bright foyer, nine-foot ceilings and an open-concept layout. The kitchen features a generous breakfast bar open to both the dining area and great room, and there’s a dining area off the kitchen with patio doors to the backyard. 

Upstairs, the laundry room has its own windows, and the bathrooms have a spa-like design.

The Fitzroy

At 2,305 square feet, the single-family Fitzroy model home blends spaciousness with intimacy and a family vibe. 

There’s a large mudroom with ample storage off the garage, an open-concept kitchen with patio doors leading to the backyard, and a great room and separate dining room, both of which offer an optional decorative ceiling.  

A flared staircase leads to the second floor, where there are four bedrooms, one of which is designed as a study, and a laundry room with a window.

The Killarney

The 2,443-square-foot Killarney is a single-family home built for entertaining, with a transitional design and traditional elements in the model. It is Net Zero ready, meaning it can produce as much energy as it consumes thanks to solar panels. 

The main floor boasts nine-foot ceilings, and the model’s gourmet kitchen has an enlarged island rather than the standard eat-in area. There’s a formal living and dining room, and the family room, pictured here, includes an optional modified-coffered ceiling.

The Mackenzie

The single-family Mackenzie is an urban farmhouse concept with both natural finishes and sleek modern fixtures. At 2,998 square feet, the home is designed for large family spaces.

An open layout and intimate warm spaces provide a pleasing contrast in the home, which features a den, a separate dining room, and a kitchen that has a large breakfast area and is open to the great room. The model’s dining room, great room and kitchen all feature tray ceilings.  

There are four bedrooms upstairs, with two walk-in closets in the master bedroom.
