Ottawa’s skyline is getting higher

Ottawa’s skyline is set to get higher after planning committee approved Tuesday a proposal for a 65-storey tower near the Bayview O-Train station on Albert Street.

The building is part of a three-tower complex of 65, 56 and 27 storeys that are to be a mixed use of commercial, retail and residential spaces. Council will vote on the proposal Wednesday as part of a meeting that will consider multiple rezoning applications along Albert Street. If all are approved, they would add a combined 350 storeys of development. Full story
