October sees 15 per cent jump in Ottawa’s resale volume

October saw a 15 per cent jump in Ottawa’s resale volume  even though the number of available properties declined steeply, according to the Ottawa Real Estate Board. That’s puzzling until you realize that the number of days on market has also shrunk, meaning a rapid turnover in properties that are available. Prices were also up again last month, says the Board, averaging $485,000 for a residential property and $303,000 for condominiums. Full story
