Inspirations Art Show and Sale
Apr. 24-26 — Check out the juried works of 44 area artists at this annual show. Pieces include landscapes, abstracts, florals and wildlife in oil, watercolour, acrylic, pastel, batik, mixed media and photography. Free entry and live music. Details.

Ottawa Clay Festival
May 1-3 — Discover the art of clay at the Ottawa Clay Festival. Find handcrafted ceramics, shop for unique pottery and meet local artisans. Enjoy live demonstrations, a pottery throwdown, a juried exhibition and a fun clay area for kids. Admission is free. Details.
Household hazardous waste depot
May 2 — Got household hazardous waste that can’t go to landfill — paint, fluorescent bulbs, pool chemicals, etc.? The city is holding another one-day drop-off depot for residents at Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, 4837 Albion Rd. Details.
Friends of the Farm Plant Sale
May 11 — The Friends of the Farm Annual Plant Sale offers everything you need for your garden, with top regional growers and nursery vendors. Get expert advice from the Master Gardeners of Ottawa-Carleton and enjoy refreshments while you shop. Admission is free. Details.
Gloucester Night Market
May 15 — Discover a lively outdoor evening market celebrating local artisans, makers, and small businesses. Enjoy a relaxed atmosphere with music, unique finds, and a welcoming neighbourhood vibe. Details.
May Show Festival
May 17 — Celebrate arts, crafts, music, dance and delicious food at the May Show Festival in Vankleek Hill. This lively event brings together fantastic vendors and entertainment for all to enjoy. Explore, shop and soak in the festive vibes. Admission is free. Details.
Great Glebe Garage Sale
May 23 — The annual Great Glebe Garage Sale returns, where residents and local businesses transform the Glebe into a massive open-air marketplace with sales on front lawns, driveways and sidewalks throughout the neighbourhood. Browse everything from second-hand treasures to unique finds. Visitors are encouraged to support the Ottawa Food Bank, continuing the sale’s long-standing tradition of giving back. Details.

Douglas Sutherland Art in the Park
June 7 — Welcome the start of summer at Stittsville’s vibrant arts celebration in Village Square Park, free to attend and open to all. Browse the art market, enjoy live music, meet artists and authors, and enjoy delicious bites in a fun, community-driven atmosphere. Details.
Art in the Park
June 13-14 — More than 150 artists showcase their work in a beautiful Glebe park setting, with painters, photographers, collage artists, sculptors, potters and more. Amble through the rows of art, eat delicious local food, take in some entertainment and laze by the creek under a willow tree. Free admission. Details.
Repair Café
June 20 — Keep your household items out of the landfill by visiting a Repair Café. These events are free and will feature volunteer fixers and menders from the Ottawa Tool Library who will help repair items like electronics, textiles, small appliances, jewelry and more. Runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Zibi, 28 Booth St. Details.
