Taking part in the Vankleek Hill Christmas Home Tour this fall got me thinking. First, an update: In my October article, I shared information about the tour, including that my home was on it this year. Well, it was fantastic! We had six homes take part and more than 850 people visited the homes and were inspired by all the unique, creative ideas that the decorators and homeowners came up with.
I spoke to every visitor to my home. We chatted about the Christmas season ahead and how, for many homeowners, while they are excited, it is a very stressful time for them.
And that’s what got me thinking. I wanted to share some of the incredible photos of these decorated homes with you, to inspire you and perhaps remove some of the stress you might feel about the upcoming holidays.
Jan Amell Photography of Vankleek Hill visited each home and really did an amazing job of capturing their uniqueness and festive feel. She has graciously allowed me to share a selection of her photos here to help inspire you this Christmas season. I’ve grouped them for you to make it easier for you to gather your own inspiration and thoughts for your home.
Before you continue, why not make a cup of tea, find a quiet spot in your home and have a peek. I hope you enjoy seeing these amazing spaces!
