The Conservancy is a development of townhomes, bungalows and two-storey singles being built by Caivan just north of the Jock River in Barrhaven.
There are three homes to tour, all two-storey singles and all based on recently introduced floor plans. Here’s what you’ll see when you visit The Conservancy model homes.
The Hemlock

The Hemlock is a 35-foot plan with a single-car garage, making it a more affordable single home option for a first-time buyer. It comes with 2,384 square feet, which includes a finished basement space, as well as three bedrooms with the option of adding two more — one upstairs and one in the basement. The model shows the finished basement bedroom option.
The layout is open concept on the main floor, with utility at the front (mud room, powder room and a walk-in closet) and the living space making up the rear. Decorated in a style of “Japandi sensibility,” it features warm neutrals and clean lines.
The Ironridge

This home is one of two 50-foot plans and is finished to showcase its multi-generational capabilities, with the den converted into a main-floor suite and a second-primary bedroom upstairs along with four other bedrooms. In the case of the model, one of the upstairs rooms is decorated as a home office. And there’s an option for a seventh bedroom in the basement, although the model shows it as a home gym and sauna for an emphasis on wellness.
There is almost 3,700 square feet in this home (including the finished basement space that comes with the home) and up to 5.5 bathrooms. The main-floor layout stretches the living room, dining room and kitchen across the back of the home for a welcoming entertaining space that’s decorated with a sleek sophistication to match.
The Stonehaven Loft

The other 50-foot plan comes in at a whopping 4,379 square feet (with a finished basement space), four to eight bedrooms (the model shows six) and 3.5 to six bathrooms. While it also includes the option for a main-floor guest suite, the model leaves it as a den and instead showcases the third-floor loft retreat and a separate basement access — both of which promote comfortable living for extended family or grown children to give them a sense of privacy within the family home.
This design incorporates bolder materials and richer texture to express a “maximalist confidence.”
