Summary
The Evergreen is a community-led, nine-storey condo project by Windmill Development Group that will add 121 units to a church property, adjoining the historic All Saints Anglican Church on Laurier Avenue East in Sandy Hill. Units are a mix of studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom and three-bedroom apartments, as well as two-level loft-style units. Developed under a community-led initiative, the building will be a net zero operational carbon building, which means all appliances will be electric and a geothermal exchange system will heat and cool the premises to minimize its carbon footprint.
