About Potvin Construction

Established in 1980, Potvin Construction is a family-owned and locally based company specializing in the design and manufacturing of custom cabinetry for homes as well as the supply and installation of trim, siding and framing. Our high-quality cabinetry solutions are tailored for various residential spaces, including kitchens, bathrooms, home offices, mudrooms, and more. We offer a range of materials for our cabinets, including MDF, solid wood, polyester, thermoplastic and melamine.

Potvin cabinetry can be found in renovations and custom homes across the Ottawa region. We also partner with 80 per cent of the area’s largest homebuilders as well as commercial clients, and we value their confidence in our exacting craftsmanship and customer service.

Exceeding customer expectations is a hallmark of Potvin, where our traditional commitment to excellence has resulted in multiple awards from the Greater Ottawa Home Builders’ Association (GOHBA). Those honours include the prestigious 2022 All Things Home People’s Choice Award, which is based on the highest number of public votes — a clear recognition of appeal to homeowners.

Our commitment to excellence extends beyond awards. We are investing in new technology and fostering a lean culture by training all our employees in Lean Six Sigma White Belt, an international process improvement program to further enhance our efficiency and quality control.

Potvin is also dedicated to environmental protection and sustainability. Since 2017, our manufacturing and recycling systems have diverted 4,600 tons of waste from landfills.
