Cardinal Creek Village is a development of townhomes, bungalows and two-storey singles by Tamarack Homes that will eventually be home to 3,000 families. It also includes an adult-lifestyle section with bungalow and two-storey towns, semis and singles, as well as a community building.
There are currently eight decorated models to view, a mix of townhomes and singles and all Energy Star equipped. Here’s what you’ll see when you visit the Cardinal Creek Village model homes.
Abbey
The Abbey is a two-storey town with 1,855 sq. ft., three bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. There’s a covered front porch and the main living area is at the back of the home with a walk-in pantry in the kitchen and a deck off the dining area.
On the second floor, the primary bedroom with its ensuite and walk-in closet is also at the back of the home for privacy.
There’s a finished recreation room in the basement with an optional fireplace.

Samira
The three-bedroom Samira townhome has 2,105 square feet and 2.5 baths. Like other Tamarack homes, the Samira also has triple-glazed windows and other features for energy efficiency.
The main floor has nine-foot ceilings, a convenient door from the mudroom to the powder room, a generous kitchen and extensive glazing that fills the living and dining rooms with daylight.
Upstairs, the primary bedroom is at the back of the home for privacy and the second bedroom includes a walk-in closet.
The basement has a finished basement with an optional fourth bedroom and bathroom.

Camden
This two-storey single-family home has 2,160 square feet, three bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. On the main floor, there’s an open-concept living, dining and kitchen area with a walk-in pantry in the kitchen and a fireplace in the living room. The deck and backyard are off the dining room.
The primary bedroom with its large walk-in closet is at the front of the home and there’s a loft with a window at the top of the stairs.
There’s an optional bedroom and bathroom in the basement.

Harmony
Tamarack’s Harmony townhome has three bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms and 2,270 square feet.
The ground floor with its covered front porch and generous main living area includes a living room with an abundance of windows, a fireplace and patio doors leading to a deck and the backyard.
Upstairs, there are four bedrooms with both a shower and standalone tub as well as a double-sink vanity in the primary bedroom’s ensuite.
The basement has a large finished rec room and an optional fifth bedroom and three-piece bathroom. There’s also an optional fireplace in the rec room.

Stirling
This two-bedroom bungalow, which has a covered front porch, features a spacious layout with a bright, open main living area. There are two bathrooms and 2,365 square feet.
The living room has a gas fireplace and a patio door leading to the deck and backyard. There’s a double-side walk-in closet in the primary bedroom as well as a double-sink vanity and both a freestanding tub and shower.
The Stirling’s basement includes an optional family room with an electric fireplace, a bedroom and a bath.

Granger
Available with either a modern or Craftsman front elevation, the four-bedroom single-family Granger has 3.5 baths and 3,070 square feet.
The ground floor with its open-concept main living area has nine-foot ceilings and striking architectural features. A traditional, comfy design characterizes the living room, while the striking, two-tone kitchen includes a stainless steel stove hood and walk-in pantry.
Upstairs, the primary bedroom is lit by expansive glazing and the elegant ensuite includes a double-sink vanity.

Emerson
Tamarack’s Emerson is a 3,120-square-foot single with four bedrooms and 3.5 baths on a 35-foot lot.
The main living area with its nine-foot ceilings includes a study which can be converted to a fifth bedroom, and a spacious open-concept dining room, a brightly lit living room that leads to the backyard, and a kitchen with a large walk-in pantry.
Upstairs, the primary bedroom at the back of the home offers privacy and there’s a loft at the head of the stairs. The fourth bedroom has its own bathroom.
The basement has a finished rec room and an optional extra bedroom and full bath.

Hartland II
The Hartland II is a four-bedroom, 3,065-square-foot single with more than 400 square feet of finished space in the basement.
The ground floor includes a study, a separate dining room with direct kitchen access and a great room with a fireplace. The kitchen with its dinette area has patio doors leading to the deck and backyard.
The Hartland’s primary bedroom on the second floor overlooks the front yard and street, there’s a Jack-and-Jill bathroom serving two bedroom, and the fourth bedroom has its own three-piece bath.
On the lower level, the finished rec room has a larger optional layout and there’s also an optional fifth bedroom and bath.
