Coleman Central is a Carleton Place subdivision that has seen multiple builders in the first phase of development with a mix of towns, singles and low-rise buildings. Phase two is being developed by Patten Homes and will see just over 60 two-storey towns, bungalows and two-storey singles in a pocket off Nelson Street East that’s next to both mature and newer homes and, as its logo suggests, is right by the town water tower. It’s also walking distance to groceries and shopping.

Carleton Place, a town of 14,000 on the Mississippi River, is fully serviced with a variety of amenities. A combination of small independent businesses and big-box retailers join both public and Catholic schools, sports and other recreation facilities, restaurants and services, including its own hospital. Two private bus lines provide commuter services to Ottawa and the town is also served by the four-lane Hwy. 7 into Ottawa.
