Abbott’s Run is a community of townhomes, bungalows, two-storey singles and three-storey singles in Stittsville-Kanata by Minto Communities. It offers one of Minto’s largest, most diverse collections of homes, including brand new designs like the redesigned three- to six-bedroom Executive Townhomes and the new 28-foot three-storey single-family homes. In total, 1,800 homes will be built at Abbott’s Run.
The community is close to schools and daycare centres, with new schools planned within Abbott’s Run. There’s lots of green space, with at least four parks planned for the community itself, and hiking trails and recreation complexes are nearby. Banks, grocery stores, retailers and other amenities, including the Canadian Tire Centre, are within easy access, and a future LRT stop will be close by.

What’s in the community
Abbott’s Run is located between Kanata and Stittsville, a little more than 22 kilometres west of downtown and offering easy access to a range of amenities in both communities.
Kanata is one of Ottawa’s largest suburbs with a population of just over 95,000. It’s home to the Ottawa Senators professional hockey team, which plays at the Canadian Tire Centre, and boasts a vibrant high-tech sector. Kanata is well-served by schools, major retailers, a three-season farmers’ market and more.
