At 2,539 square feet, the award-winning, Energy Star-certified Fairhaven is Richcraft’s largest townhome, with three bedrooms + loft or four bedrooms. There’s an additional 500-plus square feet of finished space in the basement.
The main floor has a sunken foyer. At the rear of the home, there’s a great room with a fireplace and a coastal-themed décor which amplifies its spaciousness. A low wall partially separates the great room from the living room, which, like the adjacent dining area, is open to the kitchen with its stylish gold faucets and glass-fronted cabinetry bookending the range hood.
Upstairs, there’s a large loft and a media niche in the master bedroom.
Richcraft’s 1,939-square-foot Grafton is an Energy Star-certified urban-style townhome with a finished basement.
The open-concept main floor has a fireplace in the living room, a walk-in pantry in the kitchen and a dining area immediately adjacent to the kitchen. The living room with its large windows and patio door is finished in light greys, whites and strong accents, lending it a distinct personality while adding to its spacious feel.
Upstairs are three bedrooms and the laundry room.
Richcraft’s Hudson is a three-bedroom, 2,130-square-foot townhome with Energy Star certification for energy efficiency.
The ground floor features a kitchen with a walk-in pantry and flush breakfast bar, a living room with extensive glazing for natural light and a fireplace, a dining area, and a handy flex space. The living room has dramatic finishes and furnishings, including a rich teal fireplace surround and woody tones throughout.
The upstairs has three bedrooms and the laundry room while the basement features a finished recreation room.
At 1,945 square feet, the Energy Star-certified Cobalt townhome includes three-plus bedrooms and a finished recreation room in the basement.
The retro-themed model home has a kitchen with a large walk-in pantry and a canopy-style chimney hood fan. The great room has an optional fireplace while the adjacent dining area leads to the backyard.
Upstairs, there’s a luxury five-foot shower and optional five-piece design for the ensuite. The master bedroom includes a walk-in closet.
The Ashmore is based on an award-winning floor plan Richcraft developed in recent years with architect Jason Flynn. Offering a contemporary take on modern living, the two-storey single is a mid-sized plan with just over 2,600 sq. ft. and either three or four bedrooms. The model is shown with three bedrooms and a generous flex space that’s outfitted as an upper-level family room.
With three full bathrooms upstairs, each bedroom has, in effect, a private washroom. Upstairs also includes the laundry room, and the primary suite tucks the walk-in closet behind the bed.
On the main floor, there’s an office right off the foyer, the mudroom is large (with an adjoining drop zone that’s handy for keys, mail and phone charging) and the L-shaped living room, kitchen and dining room is large and bright. Slightly monochromatic in overall design, an interesting feature is that all tile in the home was inspired by marble.
The Baldwin is a top-selling plan for Richcraft. The two-storey single offers 2,680 sq. ft. on a 35-foot lot. It comes with four or five bedrooms (the model has four) and 2.5 bathrooms and is meant as a home for growing families.
Options include turning the area that’s open to the dining room below into a loft, closing in the main-floor den for a private office, and a chef’s kitchen, which extends the island and the cabinetry in the kitchen for more pantry space. The only one of these options shown in the model is the chef’s kitchen.
The design is modern Mediterranean, incorporating natural elements, earthy tones and lots of texture.
The Bernett is the first bungalow model Richcraft has built in many years, although bungalows have certainly been a part of the company’s portfolio.
This one sits on a 35-foot lot and comes with 1,560 sq. ft., two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Long and lean, the floor plan offers a den off the foyer before quickly moving into the kitchen. The kitchen, dining and living room are open concept on one side to make for easy entertaining and the bedrooms, bathrooms and laundry are on the other, with the bedrooms separated for privacy and the primary suite tucked at the rear.
The model’s decor was inspired by celebrity designer Jillian Harris, with soft colours, textures and Victorian influences to create a cosy, welcoming space.
The Hobart is a plan introduced a few years ago, but this is the first time a model of it has been built. The two-storey single sits on a 31-foot lot and comes with 2,450 sq. ft., three or four bedrooms (the model has three, plus a loft) and 2.5 bathrooms.
Features include a chef’s kitchen with added cabinetry and extended island, plus a generous walk-in pantry that has its own sink, a main-floor den and open-concept main floor. Upstairs, the primary suite boasts his and hers walk-in closets and an oversized ensuite, a roomy laundry room with included linen closet and a loft area that overlooks the great room.
The home has been done in a farmhouse style, but one that also includes darker tones, such as the wood cabinets in the kitchen and the drop zone.
The Rainey is one of Richcraft’s larger plans, with over 3,300 sq. ft. on a 50-foot lot. It comes with four bedrooms and 3.5 bedrooms to offer lots of room for growing families who want a move-up single.
The main floor is roomy and spacious, with an open-concept layout ideal for entertaining or large family get-togethers. And the second floor is equally spacious, providing lots of room for the four bedrooms and the laundry room. The model showcases a few optional features, including the modified mudroom (to incorporate a walk-in closet), the revised primary ensuite that replaces the soaker tub with a standalone one, and the optional laundry room, which takes over the loft area for an extra large laundry.
Other features include a private office and powder room at the front of the home — perfect for accommodating clients or visitors without having to expose them to the rest of the home — a wraparound porch for great connection to the neighbourhood, a Jack-and-Jill bathroom shared by two of the bedrooms and a separate bathroom for the fourth bedroom, and high ceilings in both the primary bedroom and its ensuite.
The model is decorated in a global wanderer style, starting with a neutral base and layering in lots of natural textures and eclectic global decor and artwork. The exterior also showcases Richcraft’s new farmhouse elevation.
