Westwood is a planned community of townhomes, singles, bungalows and condos in central
Stittsville by builders Claridge,
Richcraft and Tamarack.
There are several models to see, all by Richcraft. Here’s what you’ll see when you visit the Westwood model homes.
Barton, Richcraft Homes

The Barton is a new floor plan for Richcraft and part of the builder’s farmhouse collection. This four-bedroom two-storey single is an ideal move-up family home, boasting 3,338 sq. ft. on a 50-foot lot and 3.5 baths. It’s done in a winter wonderland theme, with soft tones and hints of Scandi, modern farmhouse and even a bit of mid-century modern.
Notable features include shiplap details on walls and ceilings, an exaggerated patio door reminiscent of a NanaWall that opens completely to the outdoors, a peek-a-boo opening from the foyer to the dining room, a sunken mudroom, walk-in pantry, office by the front door and a second-floor loft.
Cedarbreeze, Richcraft Homes

The Cedarbreeze is a model Richcraft has built before, including at neighbouring Fernbank Crossing where the model was an award-winner. This time around, the two-storey single has been given a fresh approach, with a modern Parisian Art Deco design that blends timeless elegance with contemporary detail.
The home comes with three or four bedrooms (there are three in the model), 2,658 sq. ft. and 3.5 bathrooms so that everyone can, in effect, have their own bathroom (along with their walk-in closets).
Like the Barton, there’s a handy office by the front door and a peek-a-boo opening from the foyer to the dining room. The Cedarbreeze is one of Richcraft’s most popular models.
Laurence, Richcraft Homes

The Laurence floor plan has been in Richcraft’s portfolio for awhile, but this is the first time there’s been a model of the two-storey single. Designed for a 35-foot lot, the home comes with 1,910 sq. ft. and is aimed at a buyer moving up from a townhome. It offers three bedrooms (and an optional loft, not shown in the model) plus 2.5 bathrooms.
This model has a more masculine feel and was designed around the theme of a bachelor’s loft. It combines dark tones — like the black kitchen cabinets — with white to lighten and wood to add warmth. It also uses either light or airy furniture to create balance.
The main floor is open concept with a large combined great room and dining room off the kitchen and a separate flex space that in the model is done as an office. And, in the model, the basement has been finished, although not furnished.
Kenora, Richcraft Homes

The Kenora is an Energy Star-certified townhome with 2,120 square feet, three to four bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms.
The modern-themed model features, on the main floor, a den and an open-concept kitchen/dining area/great room with a fireplace and built-in wood wall unit in the great room and two-toned cabinetry and canopy style range hood in the kitchen. There are quartz or granite countertops throughout.
The second storey has three bedroom and a loft or four bedrooms as well as the laundry room.
There’s a large rec room with an optional bathroom in the basement along with an optional bath.
Wingate, Richcraft Homes
With four-bedrooms on a 35-foot lot, the Wingate is an Energy Star-certified , single-family home. It features 2,820 square feet and a two-car garage.
The main floor has a sunken foyer, a flex space, a bright, open-concept great room, a walk-in pantry and canopy-style hood fan in the kitchen, and quartz or granite countertops throughout.
Upstairs, there’s a his-and-hers closet in the main bedroom, a luxury ensuite with a spa-inspired shower and soaker tub, a walk-in linen closet, laundry room and loft area.
The model home includes a finished rec room in the basement.
Fairhaven, Richcraft Homes

Richcraft’s award-winning Fairhaven townhome is a 2,539-square-foot townhome with three or four bedrooms and a single-car garage.
The main floor includes an open-concept kitchen/dining area/living room with an adjacent great room separated from the rest of the space by a low wall. The great room features a fireplace and a patio door to the rear yard.
Upstairs, there are either three bedrooms plus a loft or four bedrooms.
The basement features a large rec room and a roughed-in bathroom.
Cobalt, Richcraft Homes

The Cobalt is a three-bedroom townhome with 1,945 sq. ft. and 2.5 baths.
Like most Richcraft townhomes, the main-floor living space is open concept and it is done in a Boho dorm style that has an earthy, organic feel. It also includes double-storey windows in the great room to add volume and lots of light.
There’s a loft area upstairs that’s perfect as a homework space or reading nook and the basement includes a finished rec room.
